(NewsNation) — A gunman is dead after New York City police responded to an active shooter at an office building in Midtown Manhattan.
At least 3 people were shot, including an officer and two civilians, on the 32nd floor of a building near East 52 Street between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue, according to NewsNation affiliate WPIX.
The scene at 345 Park Avenue has been contained and the lone gunman is dead, according to NYPD commissioner Jessica S. Tisch.
Victims’ conditions are currently unknown and police have yet to confirm the number of people who were shot.
